AU International Conference Centre Compoleted
This is the aerial view of the African Union International Conference Centre, which located in the Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. This project is one of the eight new measures in enhancing China-Africa cooperation, which the Chinese President Hu Jintao announced at the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, in November 2006, it’s the greatest China aid Africa project, being praised as the a milestone of the friendship and the cooperation between China and Africa.
In the local time January 28th afternoon, CPPCC Chairman Jia Qinglin and the Africa state leaders attended the inauguration ceremony of the International Conference Centre in Addis Ababa.Delegation from each African country gathered together In the brand new conference hall. The Chairman of AU Commission Jean Ping, the Prime Minister of Ethiopia Meles, rotating president of AU, the President of Equatorial Guinea Obiang all gave a speech, representing the Africa States and African Union showed their appreciation for Chinese government and all the constructors.
